Canada Green Building Council

The Canada Green Building Council
is a non-profit national organization that has been working to advance green building and sustainable community development practices in Canada since 2002. The strong group of over 1650 industry organizations involved in designing, building and operating buildings, homes and communities work together and share ideas to create a brighter, greener future for Canada.

Successfully advocating for green building policies in all levels of government and the private sector across Canada for over a decade, the results of the Council's work can be seen and felt across the country. The Council has also educated over 20,000 green professionals to help advance the industry, and create job opportunities in an ever growing field.
National Conference - Building Lasting Change
Each year, the Canada Green Building Council hosts a National Conference and Expo. Presentations and presenters are selected by a national program committee comprised of qualified individuals with expertise in a variety of green building specialty areas. Educational content at this annual conference is highly regarded and very valuable. Industry professionals can earn continuing education hours to help maintain their LEED credentials by attending Building Lasting Change. Each session and workshop contributes toward their continuing education.
Attendees can also participate in and enjoy a number of pre-conference events to make the most of this incredible three-day dynamic networking opportunity such as local green building tours, workshops and a volunteer community event called the Legacy Event. The Expo floor features booths hosted by a diverse representation from the green building industry.  Don't miss out on the best networking and educational experience the Canada Green Building Council has to offer.  Mark your calendars - Building Lasting Change 2016 will be held in Toronto from June 6 to 8, 2016.
